PINNA & LSN Launch their First LEAD Cohort!

1 & 2 October saw the launch of PINNA & LSN's first LEAD cohort, the first of 5 cohorts over the next two and a half years.  The group of 23 delegates got together for the first time at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel for their 'Overnight Experiential' which was a time for the group to come together, get to know one another and start to build up the trust to ensure the group gain the maximum benefit from working together over the next 10 months.  Comments included

"Thankyou to the PINNA & LSN LEAD team for organising a memorable event and allowing us the opportunity to meet such great and successful people all in one go!  On a personal note I'd like to thank everyone at the event because it was like a crash course in wisdom for me... THANKS!  I look forward to the next stage of action & implementation... time to get the show on the road!!!"

Coaching for Organisational Performance in Professional Practices (Part 1)

Due to popular demand, we're launching a new PINNA programme aimed at Law Firms, Accountancy Practices and other professional organisations.  The programme is based upon PINNA's successful Manager as Coach programme and is designed to specifically meet the needs of Partners, Directors and Managers in professional practices.  And even better news... there may be Leadership and Management Development Funding available to part-fund this programme (possibly up to the value of £7,000!).

To find out how you could benefit from such a programme and perhaps access funding, contact Jack on 07866 779 030 or jack@pinna.co.uk

This issue's recommended book is 'Co-Active Coaching: New Skills for Coaching People Toward Success in Work and Life' by Laura Whitman, Henry Kimsey-House, Karen Kimsey-House and Phil Sandahl.

The first edition of 'Co-Active Coaching' helped define the professional field of coaching. In this much-anticipated new edition, this pioneering co-author team expands the scope of their original coaching model with dozens of enhancements that reflect today's realities.  The book includes a highly practical toolkit for the coach.  Click on the following link to find 'Co-active Coaching: New Skills for Coaching People Toward Success in Work and Life'.
PINNA's Youth & Community Programmes

PINNA's second 'Coaching with Young People' pilot programme started in October and, much the same as the pilot which ran earlier in the year, is receiving rave reviews.  The programme aims to enhance the coaching and communications capabilities of those who work with young people.  The delegates on the current pilot are drawn from councils across Lancashire. as well as Barnardos who are keen to assess the programme's suitability for use internally.

PINNA has partnered with Team Lancashire to develop and deliver a 'Solutions Focused Approach to Community Leadership' programme for councillors.  This groundbreaking programme is providing councillors with new approaches to community engagement and leadership.  The programe aims to help councillors improve communications; enhance partnership working; improve consultation practices and further develop their influencing skills.

To find out more about either of these programmes, contact Jo on 01995 642276 or jo@pinna.co.uk
This quarter's free toolkit resource is PINNA's Guide to using coaching tools and techniques to improve every day work situations.
